so, last night


or 340am

bang, bang, bang, bang

knew the rentals next door to us were a bunch of low life crack heads. apparently they really are. bona fide drive by shooting. in your cliched dark suv.

beyond some lost sleep an a bruised toe caused when my slippers fumbled on the steps, no real harm done to us or our property other than a nick in our fence from the riccochet.

the bangers next door have a shattered front storm door, broken front window and a bunch of bullet holes in the front of their house.

so, my task this afternoon, track down who the idiot is that owns the house now so we can start a 'get these idiots out of here' campaign.

so, fun night :D

You should be able to find the owner by going to the Shawnee County property tax website. It's public record and you can search by address and get the name,etc. Glad you're okay!

thanks. Unfortunately, the 'slum lord' that used to own it went belly up and now a local bank owns it. I'll have to start calling the bank itself and see if anyone there gives a damn

the've been trying to sell it (we honestly thought about buying it so that we could control who lives there, but they want way too much), so if the bank doesn't care, maybe the realtor will, cuase they ain't gonna stand a chance in hell of selling it with bullet holes in the front

Yikes. I had to put up with drug dealers and domestic violence in the apartment below me for years. Not so much fun so I feel your pain. In the end I got the hell out of dodge. I hope you have success in getting them the hell out of there. It's no fun to sit around worrying if you're going to catch a stray bullet.

one group makes another mad, they exchange bullets back and forth until either they settle it or one side is dead.
