remember my round the state trip last week? i was gathering footage for a project...the very same project where my coordinator was unexpectedly called out of town hence my solo trip round the state

so i have a meeting this morning with one of the big wigs.....'well, with ___ gone, i don't know all that much about this and since you did such a good job on that other project, i'm going to pretty much just let you do this and you just let me know what you need'

mixed blessing. yeah, it's nice to have some creative freedom...but yeah, like NO pressure at all.

and i have to have a draft of this, with music, graphics and effects, by wednesday....yeah, that's a week from now. and we have a holiday friday, so i have 3 working days.

on the upside, i do have a rough outline done now and just need to clean it up. then find some music, track down the proper names/spellings and make the sfx work, so it's not like i'm starting from scratch but....right now i really wish i didn't have a 3 day weekend coming.

and once i get stuff done for next wednesday, i'll show the - hopefully - final project to the big boss on the tuesday before thanksgiving...and they want to show it on the 30th, so with thanksgiving, if she wants any changes, i have wednesday, then mon and maybe tue to get it done. oh and i was planning to take a long weekend the monday after turkey day.

me stressed???? boy am i glad i have a new bottle of rum, i think i may need it
